Meet the Doctors
Dr. David L. Shutt, DMD
General & Cosmetic Dentist · Louisville, KY
A Louisville native, Dr. Shutt has spent decades providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care. He earned his DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his General Practice Residency in 1987 at Veterans Hospital and University Hospital in Louisville.
Dr. Shutt has pursued advanced training at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Dawson Academy, with additional expertise in Invisalign®, endodontics, oral surgery, and therapeutic Botox®. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.
Dr. Elisabeth Combs, DMD
General & Cosmetic Dentist · Louisville, KY
A Louisville native, Dr. Elisabeth Combs is proud to serve her hometown at Shutt Family Dental. After practicing dentistry in Blacksburg, Virginia, she returned to Louisville to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages.
Dr. Combs earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She is passionate about exceptional dental care and helping patients understand the vital connection between oral health and overall wellness.
Outside the office, Dr. Combs stays active with her Golden Retriever, Biscuit, and enjoys traveling, skiing, Pilates, cooking, and teaching mahjong.
